เหตุการณ์ที่กำลังเกิดขึ้น ในขณะที่พูด

ใช้เมื่อ

เหตุการณ์กำลังเกิดขึ้นตอนนี้ เช่น She is reading now.
เหตุการณ์เกิดขึ้นในช่วงนี้ แม้ไม่ได้ทำในวินาทีที่พูด เช่น I am studying for an exam this week.
สถานการณ์ชั่วคราว เช่น He is staying with his uncle this month.

🧩 PART 3 · เลือก am, is หรือ are

ประธาน	Verb to be	ตัวอย่าง
I	am	I am reading.
He / She / It / ชื่อคน 1 คน	is	Tom is running.
You / We / They / คำนามพหูพจน์	are	The boys are playing.

✍️ PART 4 · หลักการเติม -ing

กฎ	ตัวอย่าง
1) โดยทั่วไป เติม -ing	read → reading, play → playing
2) ลงท้ายด้วย e ตัด e แล้วเติม ing	make → making, write → writing
3) คำสั้น สระ 1 ตัว + พยัญชนะตัวเดียว ซ้ำพยัญชนะ	run → running, sit → sitting, swim → swimming
4) ลงท้ายด้วย ie เปลี่ยนเป็น y แล้วเติม ing	lie → lying, die → dying

💡 เคล็ดลับจำง่าย

เห็นคำว่า now, right now, at the moment, Look!, Listen! ให้คิดถึง am / is / are + V-ing
ประโยคนี้ต้องมีทั้ง Verb to be และ V-ing ห้ามขาดอย่างใดอย่างหนึ่ง
